Welcome to Corgi Quest. These terms explain the rules for using our mobile app, website, and free web tools. By using Corgi Quest, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Who can use Corgi Quest

Corgi Quest is intended for adults (18+) who are responsible for a dog’s care. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the service only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf.

We do not knowingly offer the service to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

What Corgi Quest is (and is not)

Corgi Quest is a gentle RPG-style companion for logging training, celebrating progress, and reflecting on life with your dog. It is designed to support your relationship — not to replace professional help.

Your account

You may sign in with Apple or Google (or other methods we support). Keep your device and sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@corgiquest.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may request account deletion in the app (Settings) or by emailing support. Deletion is generally permanent: your profile, dogs, logs, quests, journal entries, and coach chat history stored in our backend will be removed or anonymized as described in our Privacy Policy. Some records may be kept where required by law or for legitimate security and abuse-prevention purposes.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms or put other users or the service at risk.

Your content

You keep ownership of the text, photos, and other material you add (“user content”). You give us a limited license to host, process, and display that content only as needed to run Corgi Quest — for example storing training logs, generating journal entries, showing your dog’s avatar, or sending your messages to our AI providers to produce coach replies.

You represent that you have the right to share what you upload (including photos of your dog) and that your content does not violate these terms or anyone else’s rights.

AI features

Parts of Corgi Quest use large language models and other AI services (for example voice log parsing, coach chat, avatar generation, and journal enrichment). AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or inappropriate. Use your judgment; do not rely on AI for emergencies or high-risk decisions.

Subscriptions and payments

At launch, Corgi Quest does not offer a paid subscription. The core app experience is free. We may introduce optional paid features later; if we do, we will update these terms and communicate pricing clearly before you are charged.

Our free web tools remain separate and do not require an account unless noted on the tool page.

Free web tools

The sitter sheet, noise desensitizer, clicker, and similar browser tools are provided “as is.” Many run entirely in your browser; see the Privacy Policy for how data is handled. Optional AI graphics on the web may send limited dog-care fields to third-party image APIs.

Intellectual property

Corgi Quest’s name, branding, artwork, quest copy, and software are owned by us or our licensors. These terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or code except the limited right to use the service as intended.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CORGI QUEST AND ITS TEAM WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE — INCLUDING RELIANCE ON AI SUGGESTIONS OR TRAINING LOGS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.

Indemnity

If your use of the service or your user content causes a claim against us (for example because you violated these terms or harmed someone else’s rights), you agree to defend and indemnify us against that claim, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or misconduct.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms. For material changes to the mobile app, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in-app or by email.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except where prohibited, you agree that disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
